For starters your money factor is jacked up so you are paying quite a bit more than you should in interest. It should be .00130 instead of .00150. I would tell them I won't pay jacked up interest rates since they are not the ones who are holding your lease, but rather BMWFS, so why should they be profiting from your payments on top of the already negotiated price and the 399 doc fee which is just profit. .00130 * 2400 = 3.12% .00150 * 2400 = 3.60% This difference would save you about $12-15 a month. Getting rid of the doc fee would save you another $10. But, none of this will get you down to your 390 to 400 range unless you negotiate a lower price or put more money down. It's just that you should at the very least get those interest rates down then see where you stand. Last edited by five3three; 02-24-2014 at 07:23 PM.. |

They said they could not give me the .0013.
We couldn't do the .00130 but gave you .00150. But in lieu of that we lowered the Acquisition Fee $200 to $725 So I guess I could lower another $500 by changing the EB to white but note sure what a impact $500 will be |

Haha I love dealers. $725 is the standard BMWFS acquisition fee. They "lowered" the fee? No, they are charging you the standard amount rather than marking it up, like they are doing to your interest rate. They are playing games with you.

Now, in regards to the money factor, I'm not sure where to find that in writing, however if you ask any dealer on this forum they'll tell you it's .00130 for the month of February, no questions asked. I'm sure if you work out the numbers on the leases that BMW lists on their website you'll find them at that rate as well. Same as the acquisition fee, they are allowed to fluff that a little bit but again that's just profit. |

I can get you a way better deal if you can do one of two things:
place an order and pick it up in Maryland or place an order and do performance center delivery in south carolina Probably something like 2500 off msrp (for 235) and easily that, if not more for the 228 since that's what it looks like you're getting. PM me if interested for the dealer info |

Honestly it could be as simple as calling/emailing the next local dealer and saying "I want this deal, but I need these two things to happen. Can you do it?" |

Ok so my local dealer said he would give me the .0013 and $725 and only 4% discount. It bring me to $433 with tax $446. Getting closer to the $390 to $400 range. Now if I got the $2500 discount and the same figures I would be just right to do the deal. I guess I need to hold out and see

Dude, run !! Don't do business with this slimy stealership. Marking up the money factor and acquisition fees is the sign of a lousy crappy unethical dealership. These are the lowest dirtiest tricks in the book.
Tell them they are unethical thieves and run to another dealership that will treat you fairly. |
