Tanya: My 2008 335Xi 6AT E92 Build & Pic Thread
Decided I needed to keep track of everything I was doing rather than make multiple threads about my mods (should keep the admins happy about less clutter...if they care ).
So I purchased this car after trading my old 2007 328Xi 6MT E92 on her. Meadow (as my last car was named) had roughly 76,680 miles on the odometer when this happened. 4 years of ownership and never once did I feel like I had made a terrible decision on this car. @ Wuste 2012 Fueling up for the trip to Wuste Anyway, Tanya had 43,123 miles on the clock when I picked her up. I got $11,500 in trade for Meadow and paid ~$11,900 out of pocket. Pretty awesome deal considering I didn't have to leave the state to get the color combo and options I wanted. Day 1 (you can't tell I'm happy at all ): A couple days later my first mod arrived in the mail, DCI's from BMS The next day happened to be when I decided to put the Vishnu OFT Stg 0 map on the car. That was an epic difference in power. About a week later, after hard wiring my Valentine 1 and rewiring my left paddle shifter to shift correctly (F.U. BMW for doing this), my VRSF CP came in. Just 3 days after my Tial BOV (the spring seems ok but I've got a strange 2 stage vent sound coming off boost. not really sure what to attribute that too seeing as TGS says the included spring is correct for the N54). Perhaps I'm not running a strong enough vacuum tube... About 4 days ago to this post my Turner Motorsports Black Chrome kidney's came in the mail. They are sooooo worth the money. And after a small edit yesterday, the side grills became black and the center grill went buh-bye. On order currently is my VRSF 7" FMIC to drop my IAT's down. The car is scheduled to go in for spark plug replacement and a turbo performance check (or whatever it is they do) to see if I can get some new snails. More updates to follow as things progress. Ultimate goal is around 600whp by the end of my build. I feel that's more than enough for the street with this car since it's my daily driver.

Congrats on the pick up. Not too many modded Barbera Reds on here. 600HP should make for a very nice build

Nice car man. It’s begging for MTECH front bumper, just begging for it.

Thanks for the comments everyone
I took the car to CarZ Performance today to check into the BOV spring. Sure enough, it was the WRONG one. Yellow spring at this altitude? Hell no. Ended up buying a white spring and it's PERFECT. Anyone getting Tial BOV's need to double check their vacuum pressure and the included spring prior to installation.

So I went a little mad and bought a bunch of Black Chrome decals from @MDecals on here. Also added a little extra to the rear window. I need to find someone that makes the "got boost?" in Black Chrome. The Silver CF doesn't look right. ALL of the roundels are done (engine, wheels, steering wheel, trunk, hood, etc)

Looking good!
Please let me know when you plan to install the FMIC. I'd like to come watch/assist if I could as I'm planning on doing the same mod in the near future. Thanks!

I'm most likely going to be doing it at a friends place in Aurora since he has more tools than I do. I'll keep you in the loop when it happens though. Still haven't even received my confirmation email from VRSF yet saying they received payment despite the money being verified as sent on paypal.

Son of a...
Oh well. I found some company that does the black chrome finish on decals. I'll keep that in mind for next time though.
