Autocrossing Apex EC7 on my 330i

Apex EC-7 Race Silver 18x8.5 ET35 and 18x9.5 ET35
Michelin A/S 3 235/40-18 and 265/35-18
2006 330i, stock ZSP suspension. No fender rolling; no spacers.

Props to David at Apex for all of his help! Dropped about 50lb rotating mass total. Directly bolted on without any fuss! The race silver is very close to the OEM alloy color. Aggressive yet classy. Bye bye runflats!

Pics from autocross!

Pics from pig trail drive!

Original post pics!

Doofy effect with Nik Collection, exposing how badly the car needs to be washed.

Nah. Suspension stays stock. It's too low enough already for daily driving!!

Though I may do splitters or the bmw performance front bumper.

Blacklines are the darker OEM taillights, but I'm sure he means Shadowline window trim and black kidneys.

Good choice on the wheels! I like Apex's, for the price you really can't get better rims than those.

Ah thanks for the clarification. Checked them out, unfortunately I'm not a fan of 'em.

I'd love to retrofit LED tails like I did on my E46, but I've heard that requires a new trunk!

I want to use these exact tires but am debating between the 8.5f/9.5r & 9f/10r wide wheels. Do you have any pictures that show the stretch (or lack thereof) with the tire to wheel fit (front & rear)?

Thanks.

This is a shot I have of the rear. I'll try to remember to take some this weekend when I change the brake fluid.

Cool, thanks. What are your thoughts on the offsets? Flush enough for you?

Dude we basically have the same car...(same tint, Michellin A/S 3s, same color). I am looking into Apex wheels too. Thanks your photos helped a lot.

Offset is perfect, in my opinion. Not overly aggressive, and not sunken in like the old style 162's. The profile shot (picture 5 in the OP) shows how good the rear offset looks. Check out the link below if you want similar pictures from prototyp's car.
