First "mod" for the 335
Well, it's not a great modification but a modification nevertheless.
Anyways, I picked up my 335xi about a month ago. In my intro thread, someone had pointed out that they have never seen door moldings on an e90. After it was mentioned, I realized that I haven't either. I'm assuming the first owner put some aftermarket ones on, seeing as how I can't find any OEM ones, for added protection. The more I thought about it, the more I didn't like them. So last night, off they came... Before: After: And after getting dirty again on the ride into work today: |

Door saving trim is from the 90's and early 00's. I can't believe some idiot is that paranoid about getting door dings that they had those installed on an E90. GROSS! Good decision to ditch them.
