I'm looking for a way to play videos on my 06 335i iDrive, as well as videos played in motion.

The only option I've found so far is using one of these:

The thing I don't like about this option is that you have to have an external composite video source, also it doesn't mention anything about playing videos in motion.

Can anyone share the best way to get in-motion video playback on my iDrive?


I'm already aware that the pre-lci models don't have native video playback.

I got this module... You can enable disable in motion video. I'll post some pics when ready... I'm connecting my ipod video out and rear/front cam...
Otherwise ifaik no way to play dvd with the oem unit...
