Yellow steering wheel icon with arrows on top

I parked my car today and a yellow steering wheel icon with double sided arrows on top of it showed up on my dash, it doesnt happen all the time (only twice so far). Does anyone have an idea of what it means? Ive checked the manual and forums and cant find anything. Thanks

Active steering problem or steering angle sensor if you don't have active steering

Thanks, it could probly be the steering angle since when i parked my wheels were turned way to the left and the second time it came up on the dash, my car was in a slight incline on my driveway after i worked on my engine replacing the cabin filter and looking for my valve cover leak

Mine has that and now the car won't start ! Is this a safety feature?
Been having issues with the T/C and now this, thought it was the ABS pump but somebody did say steering angle sensor and now it looks like that's what it is, wish it would start though as I have to pay £70 to get it to the garage
