I found a interesting place to mount my 2.5gal meth tank...

I did this a few weeks back and have been searching around... I can seem to find anyone who has mounted their 2.5 gallon exactly like this. Maybe it's old.. but just incase it's not - I thought i'd share.

Snow also sells these tanks in black, imo it would look better in black. But this is what came with my pwm kit... and it's easy to read.

It actually snugs down about an inch or so further when bolted in (down to the pen marks that are visible on the image), but this is the only pic I have right now.

Note: I had to hack away a decent amount of the plastic, I'm going to see if the tank can be rotated 180 this weekend for better flow.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic here but mounting 2.5 gallons of methanol right on top of the battery seems like a recipe for disaster.

HAHA. That would bd a good location if the battery wasn't below it I can't even imagine if the tank started leaking on the battery what would happen other than in the movies (Boom) lol.

Vishnu Kit has it in the same location...

The battery itself will have a "roof", a oversized piece of plexiglas or abs creating a partition.

Is that a pickup tube or a sensor under the strap?

Looks good. I think I might go back to that. Your second picture in your common locations is my old setup. Really liked that, but went to Aquamist and got the 2 gal enclosure. Think I'll pick up a 2.5 gal like yours and move all my stuff back under the deck as it's a total Pain In My @$$ where it is now. Always in the way... about ready to rip it all out as I don't use it much... But I know when I do I'll want it back again for the summer.

I've got mine in the same place and NOT worried in the least bit about it being over the battery. Lets be realistic here, the chances of the battery sparking and igniting any meth that "could" spill on it is slim to none. I love the people on here that over-inflate statements and make it appear like its dangerous just because they did it a different way. I'm not saying its impossible anything could happen, but it is highly improbable.

I had some left over parts from a fuel project. Its a weco float (at the top under strap) wired to the gauge. The discrete comes from the trunk light so it's only activated when my trunk is open. Every 40%is a gallon
