Detail Addict Review

I'm thinking about taking my e90 here to get some coding done and probably get Lux's installed here too. Just wondering what kind of feedback people have gotten from this place.

actually he has an e90 and its a process. u have to remove the tire and the cover and then go under. for the e92 all u do is pop the hood and simply change the bulb in the bottom corners. but with that said, don't pay someone to do it lol. its not hard. just time consuming.

I would honestly just do everything on my own minus the coding but I don't have a garage or driveway to use at the moment lmao. Can't expect me start taking my car apart on the sidewalk. So it makes things tedious for me

Maybe ill just go buy my friend a pack of beer to let me use his garage for an hour lol

I used Detail Addict. They were cool and professional.
Didn't feel like learning how to code for what would be a one to two time thing.

Better ways to spend my time.

I always tell people to just learn how to do it, it is really simple and you can do a lot with it. If you want, bring some beer and I'll do it for you or teach you.

I'm currently talking w/Kiem via email about getting specific coding done on my car this coming weekend. So, he apparently is still working for DetailAddict.

oh lol didn't know that

They'll do a good job but I just think their prices are too high. There are other ppl out there who will do much more for much less

Well, all I can say is that he's meeting me at DetailAddict's shop this weekend to do the coding on my car, including the Alpine B3 tranny flash.

I was initially happy with the coding work done by Kiem at Detail Addict but some issues arose and he just left Detail Addict leaving some work that still remains to be done to my car hanging. So, I'm not so happy now.

However, I have been offered a partial refund for the work that still needs doing and will try to get Kalim to do the remaining work later. Bottomline: Detail Addict no longer has a coder on staff as of this date. So, you'll have to go elsewhere if you want to get any coding done.

Yeah, another for Kalim. He's the man!

Just helped me do Alpina TCU + the following coding for my 2011 E90 335i:

1. Enable closing of windows and sunroof with the key fob

2. Allow one touch close operation of the windows while the driver door is open.

3. Enable folding and unfolding of the mirrors with the key fob.

4. Fog lights with high beams.

I forgot to ask him to do the "don't have wiper blades stop in the middle of the windshield when I stop the car" thing. Oh well--next time!

Kiem actually did that ALL of that (and more) for me at Detail Addict a couple of weeks ago and I was happy with the work up to that point but, when he tried to do the 3 to 6 blink turn signal mod for me this past Sat, he inadvertently reset 3 lighting functions back to stock and then abruptly left Detail Addict before I could get him to redo them.

So, I've arranged to meet Kalim in a week to redo the lighting changes that were "lost" and to do the 3 to 6 blink turn signal mod as well.
