V2, exhaust, fmic, ONE set of different rims on rear and stock rims on front

I was going to run V2, meisterchaft exhaust and AA FMIC and I was thinking about just buying two rims to use on the rear of the car and running the stock rims on the front (dont have much money left for the mods and rims and tires are pricy).

I was thinking about getting 19x9.5 rim for the rear (similar color to the front). I know a bunch of people doing this, a couple people were running it on their E46 and it looked pretty good.

I have bought only 3 sets of rims in my life (im 24) and always got 4 rims and 4 tires always.........basically i was gonna run this for just the added traction obviously and then i would only need to buy 2 rims and 2 sticky tires, instead of four (so i could save a little money) just to let you know i just bought a house too, so savings and money is a lil bit more of an issue.........

What do you guys think?? Bad idea?

IMO it's not a bad idea. The 19's wrapped with something ultra sticky like the Michelin PS2 will give you about the best traction you're going to get without going to something like a BFG drag radial. I would go for it.

Sorry just to let you know people in NY run all types of setups, have you never seen anyone running 2 different rims for the rear and running stock rims in the front?

I can say with certainty that I have never seen anyone intentionally do this. Unless of course they are at a track.

This isn't a Honda. I'm a firm believer in not doing a job until you can do it right. Save the money for 4 wheels.

id do it if you're draging/tracking your car, but to roll around (town or w/e) with two diff types of rims looks cheap IMO

EDIT: you replied as i posted ~.~
