Weird Vibration at Idle
Hey folks,
I noticed something weird on my drive to work this morning. When the car is stopped and I let go of the wheel, I hear a distinct vibrating noise (like a piece of plastic is hitting something rapidly). If I put one hand on the wheel, the noise goes away. If I'm moving and let go of the wheel, there is no noise. I have a scheduled service appointment for next Saturday and will be mentioning it (unless it goes away and doesn't come back) but I'm wonder if anyone has experiences this before. Car's still under warranty so I'm not too concerned (unless I have to leave the car overnight; then the dealer will charge me $32/day for the loaner )

I had some plastic sounding vibration once too, I unlocked my steering wheel from its position and moved it down and up a few times then locked it back in place and noise went away.
Another thing that was rattling on me was my garage opener in the sun visor which took me a few days to realize what it was. Other than that I am not sure if I have duplicated your exact vibration before, good luck with it. |

Yeah it went away when I started my car after work. My car mends itself.
