Another 330D.

I've just had quotes back and have decided on a 330D Msport as a company car.

Spec will be:
Melbourne Red
Black Leather
No model designation
Brushed Aluminium Trim
Gloss Black finisher

Pro Nav
Visibility Pack
Msport + Pack
Heated front seats
Reversing Camera

Not needed until April, so will make sure I get the wk10 updates (if they apply).

When looking at the options, rentals were based on about 60% of the list price except pro nav, That just added £8 a month to the rentals.

There wasn't enough of a difference on the 320D to go for the lower powered car, but will be a bit of hit on the BIK.

Now the wait.

Nice spec mate, and good bold choice going for Red! Think it'll be the first Melbourne Red i've seen on here!

Very nice that pro nav is only £8pm extra! It would have been £30 for me!

Sounds fantastic. They really look great in Red! Especially on 19's! Welcome to the wait...

Thanks guys. All my cars have been red. It's a football thing. Kept the options to the minimum really, but have similar on my E90 currently, and wanted to have the same again.

The wait is always the worst bit, but I'm able to nominate my local dealer, who have always been brilliant. So they always keep me updated. The company also recently introduced a max of 130 co2 emissions, so the 330D just got under. Well done BMW

That's definitely paranoia..

AKAIK, the modern water-based solid colours all have a clear lacquer over them..

They are not at all like the old two-pack paints of the past (that are now outlawed for health and environmental reasons) that did fade when you didn't keep them nice and waxed/polished...

So nice to find a Cardiff City fan who actually buys into the colour change...

Great to see another Red car... it's a lovely colour in the flesh and totally under-rated due to red not being currently fashionable!

I think the MPerformance accessories look very good with the red too.

Welcome, I was hoping to read you were a Gunners fan....but then I saw your reference Moyes managed red team ;-)

Congrats, great spec - I bet you forget the BIK effect until late into each tax year! In between you'll certainly be enjoying the great drive!

Here's my current car on collection. Not quite as clean now though.

Its a shame they don't do the f30 in crimson red any more.

And my 123d previously

And my two cars before that.

Welcome to the forum, are you sure you didn't secretly want a light blue car?

Hi mate, ended up getting the same engine due to company policy on restricting emissions. Sucks to be green, except in a BMW (or a Porsche 918 spider)!

BMW diesels are pretty good aren't they. My current 320ED does 60 mpg yet can get to 60 in about 8 secs. With most other makes its usually one or the other, but not both.

Hardcore red fan I see!! I had an E93 in Crimson red, one of the best looking colours in my opinion...

If it wasn't for my love for estoril blue when I got my first M3, I would have probably got the Melbourne Red.. Very beautiful colour especially in M Sport, congratulations

It's good to see you've always made the right choice about having xenons!

Well the paperwork has now all been signed, and confirmed by the lease company. It seemed an age from making the decision to finally getting everything finalised.

Now the long wait starts.

Well the wait won't be that long. Delivery to Dealer is now estimated 17/4 and available 24/4. But with Easter weekend between those dates, it might well slip a little.

Looking forward to the pics.
I quite like the MR, but was out voted. Ended up with EB11.
MG or MR for my next BMW though.

Interesting this buying a car in the colour of your team!

Unfortunately i cannot do it because a) F30's don't come in green or yellow, & b) green cars & yellow cars are hideous!
