335d reg plates light

Are these a straight forward swap? if so briefly how do you change them (can't look as its always dark outside), i have bought w5w led lights.

At first i thought they had LED's as standard but it doesn't appear so.

Cheers

The rear plate lights on mine were easy, i have a 325i but i cant imagine them being much different although i'm no expert, they simply popped off, mine were not w5w bulbs though.

Look in this area under the lighting part and there are 4 tutorials, i'm sure one of them is some way of modifying them if neccesary

You just take out the inner boot liner, pop them out and fit the new ones. Very easy and there are plenty of DIYs. 5 min job, or 10 if you've not done anything similar before

if yours is pre lci then they were ordinary bulbs, by fitting leds the lower current draw makes the bulb checker think a bulb is out so you need to fit resistors inline this cures the problem, im not sure but I think you can get led bulbs with resistors incorporated in them check on ebay
