Trade in & private sale value

I've just been to look at an AUC e93 330i, which I didn't actually get to view as I didn't call ahead to check they actually had the car at the dealer local to me, turns out it's down near Brighton, my fault as I didn't ask before I went, anyway, I still had a chat with them about the car and they had a look over mine and gave me a trade in price, I don't think it's too bad what they offered, but could anyone please tell me what my car is worth as a trade in and also as a private sale..........it's a 06 2006 E90 330d M Sport, 104000 miles, full service history, sapphire black, pro sat nav, black leather, Bluetooth, extended lighting(is that what it's called?? door handles light up)

Now my rear pads & discs need doing in 3000 miles, mot, micro filter and brake fluid need doin in April and due an oil change in 5000 miles

Would anyone be able to give me a rough guide on value please

Assuming it's an Auto, trade in price around £7k and private sale around £7.5-£8k. Take around £500 off those figures if it's manual.

Yeah, sorry forgot to say it's an auto. I got offered 6k by a dealer, so you think there's room to push him up a little??

The only problem is if I manage to increase the trade in price, the less I'll be able to negotiate on the car I want to buy.

Normally with trading in theres room either way, i always prefer to sell mine privately, in the end you always come off better in all my cases anyway.
Looked at trading mine in they offered 9k but privately there stil making 11k so i could have potentialy lost 2k

I know everyone hates them, but try webuyanycar.com, if they get anywhere near your trade in price, ask your dealer how much to buy the new car out right, you might be surprisesd in the difference

It's the cost to change rather than the actual numbers. You need to work out what you want to spend to get yourself in the E93....
