spend this morning coding the following. really enjoying the bluetooth streaming.

- Bluetooth streaming
- Welcome lights now include front fogs
- M Performance logo
- Speed Limiter activated *
- Digital Speedo

* question on the speed limiter - when activated by pressing 'SET' the LIM light should show on the black display and the speed it is set on should display similar to the cruise control. however when i press it the limiter kicks in but nothing shows up on the display. has anyone had any experience with this.

Yes I have pro nav. The following was coded for the limiter

ICM > 3000 daten, F8 > SLD_Funktion > aktiv

ICM > 3000 daten, F8 > C_Umschaltung_ACC_DCC > zugelassen

KOMBI->3003 FZG_Ausstattung, 10->SLD_ENABLE->aktiv

I bought my coding kit from eBay (software and cable) Probably paid a lot more than I should have but it works fine and it came with a great tutorial.

I simply coded:

ICM->3000
C_SLD_FUNKTION
AKTIV

I wonder if you've coded too much and inadvertently deactivated the light (i.e. the KOMBI section). Some of the logic is reversed I noticed; KOMBI SLD_ENABLE may mean the SLD light in the KOMBI display is active and you've coded it to be inactive.

Worth a try to reverse the second two codes to see the result.

Just double check the E-Sys version number.... on the coding thread.

When I was looking, the E-sys was too old to work with the new 2014 model year cars (with the newer PSdZdata) and so I had to go down the build-your-own route.

I did email the seller for an update but didn't get a response. Hopefully they have the latest version now, making everything simple.

ok speed limiter is now working. the coding on the kombi didnt save the first time round. just went back and re activated it and now its working fine and now its showing the LIM light on the display.

The EST token is just a PKCS#12 certificate with certain parameters in DN (UID and role)...
