Got my delivery dates today!

Just got a message from my dealer that I got their first build slot and that my cars expected delivery date is week 27 approx 1st July to 6th July although this can slip either way by a week or so .

Spec:

F80 M3
Mineral white
Black extended leather
DCT
Carbon fibre trim
Sun protection glass
Black wheels
Service pack

Most other options on UK cars are standard, Nav, adjustable dampers, xenons etc. Cannot wait to pick up my 3rd M3. If I enjoy it even 1% more than my other 2 it's going to be some car. Roll on the summer- it's going to be a long wait!

21st June is the first date of UK deliveries as well. Looks like I managed to get fairly high up in the waiting list but not high enough to get one of the first cars.

Do you know how many allocations your dealer for first month orders?

No I never asked. When I ordered I was just told that I was their first and so far only order for the F80 M3

Originally ordered YMB but changed to MW. Only downside is that I would have liked the Silverstone interior but with MW I don't think that would be a good combo-

I hesitate to order a M3 now that I have a 2 months y/o girl. If I do I will probably order MW on black leather again (like my current m3 v8). You won't regret it! That's an awesome color!!

Considered the Sakhir interior but can't find any real pics of it in the M3 online so played it safe with black

Speed limit display

I've kept with the standard grey wheels.
I've been quoted £350 fully comp insurance, but have been told I must get a tracker fitted. I like gadgets

My M3 order has changed status from 1100 Scheduled, and it is now:

1200 Scheduled for production
Production week: 23-06-2014

Mine has done the same! Week 24 for me so a week later than you. I've also added a few bits to the spec like HUD and changed from MW to AW and also changed interior to SO. The sooner the car gets' locked in' so the spec can't be changed the better!!
