I raced one too when I had catless downpipes and BMS tune and gave him a good beating, but my Drivetrain malfunction came on and he wanted to go again so no go.

I was super excited because these two guys started to mess with me and were laughing at the M. I was with the wife and two dogs in the back. Looked at the wife, she nodded and said you better kick their ass, downshifted and we went at it. The M pulled pretty hard on them through 3rd, 4th and 5th and then bam the error came on.
The two retards wanted to go again, but I couldnt do anything. Showed them thumbs up and slowed up. Their response was big thumbs down....classy to say the least.

!!
You were already 5th gear which means way more than 3 digits what else do they need and who cares after that... actually that was all you needed to prove -

Their egos wouldn't let them swallow their pride that the M gave their cars a run for their money -

Thumbs up from me -

I own both and the M5 is definitely faster. The DBS has an epic soundtrack and lots of drama, but it's not as quick in a straight line. NA throttle response decimates the turbo F10 in feel though.

Do you have any pics of yours?
I will always have a little spot for those cars as I always loved the way they sound, the body and the build quality inside. Maybe I will get one as my mid life crisis gift.

Thank you sir for chiming in -
Loved to hear your feedback
Because comparing 199k$ Aston to M5 shouldn't be fair in the first place - But ro hear that you have both and think it is not a ridiculous comparison makes me like my M5 more - especially that Aston Martin is a bit out of my league... Hahahahah

They're very different cars. Sort of irrelevant comparing them, but for straight acceleration the M5 is an astounding machine.

Aston MSRP was closer to $300k. It's all about hand made interior, exclusivity, beauty and sound sound sound.

They have depreciated ferociously and are actually not much more expensive than a M5/M6 to pick up used. In fact, mine will go up for sale shortly....so if you're interested PM me.

I'll have to dig up a much better pic, but this is all I have on my phone (next to my track car)

You mean the track car on the left of the Aston?
