M235i / 228i 2 Series European Delivery Is Open For Orders!

I was just notified earlier today that ED is finally open for the new 2 series!

Who here is doing ED? Anyone put their build order in yet? If so, post your deal here.

What does that mean? Some dealerships have been taking ED orders already.

Yes, but I was told prior that ED pricing wasn't out, so they couldn't submit an order.

Now that pricing is officially out for ED, dealers can place build orders for ED

ah cool. so whats the official % off? All options are also discounted, correct?

I wanna know when ED orders will stop coming out of dealer allocations so that we can pay invoice + X pricing.

I got my ED production number last week. I'm picking up at the Welt on March 17th. I'm still waiting for details for the limited slip diff.

Not sure what the official % off is but I would imagine 7% off US MSRP for ED MSRP.

I will find out more tomorrow hopefully.

As for waiting until dealers don't need allocations is uncertain. I guess it would depend on the demand at launch but not sure.

Hmm that's awesome!

What % did you end up getting for your ED price if you don't mind me asking

Placed my ED order December 17, got the production # December 28, picking up March 8.

We get no ED discount in Canada and the car is always out of dealer allocation.

You guys that have March Munich dates....are you getting All Season tires?

I was told I can't pick up with summer tires until April 16th. I've done 3 EDs and when I last did a winter pick up they were less strict re releasing a car with summer tires.

I'm getting the std summer perf tires. No problem ordering that way.

In fact, I just signed BMW's winter driving waiver last night!

I will rent winter tires if conditions require, which complies with the law.

I don't live in California. If I do ED, does the car gets shipped to my home state? Or do I fly down to California to pick it up after it reaches North America?

The car gets delivered to the dealership you choose to purchase the car at.

You have 3 options:

Have it shipped from Cali to you.

Fly to Cali and drive it back.

Do performance center delivery in South Carolina and drive it back from there. (This is what I'll be doing) ED + PCD

Edit: I see you are in Seattle so option 1 or 2 is probably best for you

No there are a variety of delivery options. each situation varies as far as options go but in a nutshell you can do a courtesy delivery ( car gets delivered to a dealer near you) you can ship the car from our store to wherever you like in the US, you can pick the car up at the performance center in South Carolina (which is AWESOME!!) or you can pick the car up at our store and drive it back.
