Average delivery times

Morning all,

Just wondering how long everyone waited for delivery of your car once ordered?

Cheers

Forecast for mine is 10 weeks (9 weeks from order to arrival at dealer, 1 week to PDI and collect). A long time to wait but it is tempered for me as it falls in to the first week of the new 14 plate - no big deal but it's a small thing for me to 'cling on to' during my wait.

Edited to add that I ordered the day before Christmas Eve so I guess one week would be added to my wait because of the Christmas/New Year holiday.

Ordered mine in early December and asked for a 14 plate so just by choice. I'm a patient person and still playing with my 123d

Just to ruin the average, there always has to be one to skew the results

18 weeks and 5 days from order to delivery

That was a bit of chasing at the end to get it delivered before Christmas as we were going away the following week when they wanted me to collect.

Ok, I had individual interior and exterior plus the painting and fitting of the kit prior to collection but I wouldn't recommend anyone waits more than 4 months

So are you guys telling me the estimated BMW Delivery weeks that are assigned to the car are not accurate?

6 weeks for me too. Even with Christmas thrown in, my delivery was bang on. Dont worry about the dates on the system. Sometimes they dont change for ages then suddenly they get updated. My wife's car turned up at the dealer a full week early. This is probably a busy time for GB dealers with the 14 plate in March but similarly year end was busy as people ordered in case the deals changed and deliveries were on time.
In any case it is so worth the wait. You will love it.

Waiting sucks, not only do you not have the new car but you have way too much time to mess around with the options on the configurator, added to reading the forum results in doubt, confusion and headaches. I guess this is part of the fun of buying a new car !!

To add to my previous post, my delivery was a week before the estimated delivery. The dealer was actually rather surprised by how fast it was.

34 days from order to collection from the dealer.

Originally told it would be delivered 1st week in April, ended up collecting 2nd week in Jan.

I was lucky as the dealer had a production slot they used for my car. But I guess it depends on the car and the spec?
