Dash/door trim colour - opinions please!

So I've currently got bog standard SE spec sliver trim (just plastic not brushed alu) and after fitting the red leather, it just doesn't work!

so I have ordered a set of trims off eBay, and am going to get them painted. but I cant decide between Piano Black (high gloss black) or colour coded with the exterior in Sparkling Graphite.

so first off does anyone know of anyone with Sparkling Graphite dash trim? (pictures would be awesome, I cant find any!)

and what do you think would look better, Piano Black or Sparkling Graphite?

Seems like we're going for a similar sort of interior. Mine also has red interior and i have the silver hex interior trim. Thought about wrapping it with dark carbon fibre but i'm suddenly against it after seeing the piano black.

Looks real good. Would love to see pics if you do eventually go for it.

I think SG could look really good! Give it a nice polish and shine and it could look uber cool!!!!

And different!
I love my Piano Black though

With a red interior I'd say piano black every time, fantastic combination!

I wrapped my trim in gloss anthracite. Lighter than sparkling graphite but grey so might help you out a bit. Not the best photos but it's all I've got as I've now sold the car. Ignore the centre trim in the first photo.

I'd go gloss black if I did it again.

Just to throw this in the mix.

I've got the individual gloss black trim in mine, the only difference to the standard one is there is a couple of silver stripes across the dash trim. The centre console and door trim is all gloss black.

thanks in advance!
What a coincidence, that exact trim is in my D3, I bought it from the original owner.

Personally I'd go with the Piano black, but it is a PIA to keep clean and swirl free.

In the sunlight the Piano Black has a purple tinge to it.
