It's not which car would you pick? NA v8 put together by Italians will always sound better that a v8 w/ forced induction built by Germans. Sad truth, but it's a fact.....

These YouTube videos suck. The M5 in the video sounds like a lawn mower and we all know that the M5 doesn't really sound like a lawn mower.
If you guys keep posting these shit sounding videos I will hunt you down and replace your S63tu with a honda mower engine,

I have rev up the QP GTS (previous version to the one in the dealers now, so the last true QP so far until Marchione decided to spoil it).
I like the sound of my car, but the sound of the QP is simply at a different league. Far better than M5. Only comparable to a Ferrari. |

Ok guys, lets be honest. Stock for stock the Maserati Quattroporte sounds much better than the M5 does. Now when you start throwing aftermarket exhaust into the comparison, things change. Plus exhaust sound is all subjective.

M5 from factory have always sounded weak. Swap out the exhaust to Akra and first response is "should of come from factory like this". I can't see how the Akra exhaust wouldn't make ALL M5 owners happy (from 60 years old down). That's what BMW needs to put on the car.. an exhaust that makes the entire ownership range happy. Hands down the Quattro sounds better than the M5. My 6.3 AMG sounds better than my M5 did when it was stock. Also here's another reason: My MBZ 6.3 comes with an Eisenmann exhaust from the MBZ factory. The Quattro comes with just a sick exhaust from factory. The M5 comes with an old man crowd pleaser exhaust from factory. So just by principal of the different companies, the Quattro and AMG will always sound better than a M5, stock for stock. As far as what car I would pick between Quattro and M5. They are very different cars, but I would pick M5 hands down. Just my honest opinion.
