Black tail pipes

Has anyone considered the black tailpipe mod?

I've come across a post but been unable to find it since. Be interested to see any photos of anyone that has.

They look great on the 530D M Sport IMO

And here's confirmation on the part numbers required for F30 330d, look at part 13, available is chrome, alu look & black chrome. $50 each, so probably about £50 each here!

Part number is 18 30 7 610 639 same as the 328i & 320d so probably all models.

No problem!

Usually cheapest place to buy genuine parts except ebay is:

http://www.bmminiparts.com/PriceFinder.aspx

They will require a reg/vin so if you don't have yours yet this is a 330d m sport reg YF62PWU

bmminiparts have got back to me, £69.86 for the pair + postage

I dare say you could recoup most of that by selling your chrome ones!

I've bought them, but they are still floating around in the back of the car, I havn't attached them yet, will post pictures when it's done, decided to do it to remove the last piece of chrome from the car as everything is black and white.

They look really nice, kind of a black chrome rather than just glossy.

Wait for the pictures, they ll help you

Look out for a 525 or 530 MSport to get a glimpse, that's what made me think they'd look awesome and work very well. Also obscures the twin pipes in anything other than good light which helps hide the model (keeping the 330d on the back of mine tho). Do share if you invest

I got the black pipes fitted prior to collection for £70 and it was money well spent.

A simple mod that improves the back so much

No meets that I'm aware of, did one once, all a bit awkward I thought. "...so, you have a TT too, and on the forum you're called TTnut... hmm nice car. " Probably my cynical view on the world. It was OK, but can't help think it's for young 'uns.

Anyway, I'm not talking to you because I've just ordered some black paint which YOU made me to buy!
