To all V2 owners
To all those lucky V2 owners, does the V2 feel like this?
Quoted from the NOV 07 edition of Bimmer, who did a story on a Hartage 335i: "A drive in a stock 335i starts off with promise, revealing good low-end torque and a punch mid-range. But just when you think the car is really cooking with gas, the power starts to tail off around 5,500 rpm, leaving the enthusiast driver unfulfilled. The remapped ECU in the Hartage 335i changes that picture altogether. With no other changes apart from software and Bird's prototype rear exhaust silencers, power goes up from a Euro-spec 306 bhp at 5,800 rpm to to 381 bhp at 6,000 rpm, while torque increases from 289 lb-ft between 1,300 and 5,000 rpm to 325 lb-ft between 1,300 and 5,200 rpm. The first time we had the chance to open the Hartage car's taps fully on a long straight, we could tell that power and torque had been enhanced across the board. But the real difference is apparent over 5,000 rpm, when the motor seems to inhale with even bigger lungs and charges on towards 6,800 rpm with a fervor alien to the stock motor. Once you have experienced this dramatic change to the power delivery, you get the impression that BMW deliberately restricted the turbocharged N54's fuel and spark at high revs, and that Hartage has merely unleashed its latent potential." |

lol, I'm shipping my car so I'll be fine till I get back to the states. Havent ordered yet. Figured the current situation would happen so I'll wait till everythings fixed.
By the way, I was saying to the OP that Hartge's numbers are the equivalent of V1.47 with a lot less torque.
