Mine died after a damn penny got caught in the socket. Its the only explanation I have...

Still have to get around to replacing. I forget which fuse it is off the top of my head, but the diagram is in the fusebox behind the glovebox.

No. Take it in to BMW dealer so they can charge you $299 for a $0.45 fuse replacement. LOL

i hate to laugh, but a fuse replacement DIY? that's effin hilarious lol. but, jokes aside, open up your glove box, take the back panel off and you'll see the fuse panel. there is a sheet that tells you which fuse is for cigarette lighter circuit. use that little plastic fuse puller that's there and pull it out and see if the fuse is blown. very simple, dude.

seriously? i just told you where it is, and how to know which fuse it is. it's not that hard shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. you need someone to post pictures of the glove box? i don't understand. again, open the glove box. on both sides of the back of the glove box there are two knobs that you turn to remove the back. the fuse panel is right there. there is a sheet right there at the fuse panel that tells you which fuse it is. i don't understand why you need a DIY after i just told you how to do it.
