330 the DEAL ??
Right guys, This is getting close to being a reality now.
I have a quote that is taking my PX in to account and the negative equity its going like this. 2600 Deposit. 1600 clears my shortfall 1500 goes down as deposit the 330D is coming out cheaper than the 320 with the following figures and spec 330d M Sport Auto M Sport + Service Pack £436.21 pm over 4 years £12,374.55 GMFV 16K Miles p/a Any opinions on this deal? When I look at the same on a lease the PCP is coming out better for me and its also getting me out of the current car. This is significantly the best offer I have had considering one dealer was offering £580 pm for a 318D M Sport with no extras. |

If it was PCP there wouldn't be a shortfall (unless it was ended early in which case VT is the way to go...).
Deal seems OK, I wouldn't say it was brilliant.... Have you contacted TRL? |

Settlement for March when I would be taking delivery is 15,600
Best PX offer so far is 14,500. The sweet point for my PCP was not until June 2015 for VT so unless I hold off until then or wait for equity to balance out i am always going to be paying to get out of it. |

Here is the maths: Car value from configurator £38,875 + Service Pack £425 = £39,300 FV = £12,374 Difference £39,300 - £12,374 = £26,501 less £1,600 deposit = £24,901 Divided by 48 = £518 per month @ 0% finance £432 per month is only 83% of £518, so he is getting a minimum of 20% discount in my calcs, which is a cracking deal on a limited option 330d EDIT: Missed some steps out so working backwards: £432 x 48 months = £20,706 + £12,374 (FV) = £33,110 + £1,600 deposit = £34,710 At 4.9% there will be at least £3,500 finance charges in there, so he is effectively paying something like £31,210 for a £39,300 List car. Well bargained that man Last edited by NISFAN; 01-10-2014 at 10:58 AM.. |
