I-Drive video resolution?

Hello,
I have CIC Navi Professional adn want to encode some movies to my car. What is the best resolution of videos for optimal view? Have some dvds but I want to resize movies to fullscreen. If I check "Zoom" function, video is cutted on top and bottom.
