I'm sorry.

I just had to post this in response to the below post, "I need help with my BMW"

As an educator/counselor this type of thinking is way more prevalent than anyone outside the field could imagine.

Contemporary society has stripped today's youth of all their deductive reasoning. It's rather remarkable and terrifying to say the least.

I assume the poster was a millenial or a late 90's baby. Otherwise.....

I fear for the future.

I couldn't agree with you more. I tend to ask people on the forum about something I can't figure out about my car as a last resort.

Very true, it's like they cannot search for answers before asking questions. These are the people who have never held a Haynes manual. Now you can just google your problem and it will lead you to the correct forum post, you don't have to flip through a 2 inch thick book.

I usually like to throw the "lmgtfy.com" link people's way when I feel like they ask me questions too much. It's just funny because I often times use Google to find the answer to their questions.
