Quality Upgrade

Had a call from BMW saying my car needed a 'quality upgrade/update' - any idea what it might be? Car is a F31 330d-x 2013MY registered in June - not been in for any work before...

Could be anything.. The only thing my old "sport" had like that was a "reprogramming" of the software that had something to do with the operation of the windscreen wipers (IIRC)...

There is a recall I believe as it was mentioned on another thread.

I can't for the life of me remember what is was for now though. Sorry!

Apparently the 'Quality Enhancement' is to the 'diesel particulate filter clip'. Dealer said takes around 20 minutes.

+1^ It'll be the Quality & Enhancement software update. Possibly hardware to your diesels too as mentioned above.

I recall my ASS and Auto Wipers being improved, along with just marginally better finished graphics on the Black Panel Display, but MY2013 cars had this already. Mine is early MY2012.
