Confirmation Or Pic Request Needed Plz...

i need confirmation or a pic request of a simple part from anyone who has a 335i coupe/sedan with navigation and has the chrome volume knob.

if you remove your volume knob, is your pin that connects to the knob half a circle or some other shape like a full circle? or if you look behind the volume knob do you have half a circle insert or a full circle?

im asking this b/c i bought the chrome knob and my knob's pin that holds it is half a circle and the chrome knob is a small full circle. went to dealer today and they wouldn't find it on the parts computer.

if you look at the back of your knob, the the part that connects to knob to the pin, is there a half a circle behind the knob or a full circle?

just seems right for it to be there. chrome on the ac/heat dials so chrome on the volume knob only fits...

both lawrence and jasonn have the chrome knobs. I am sure I'll see them sometime soon. I'll beg them to find out.

I was so jealous. Mine is February production...just ONE month off and I missed out on 5 touch sensitive hotkeys + the baller chrome dial.

well i was actually one of the first batches of 335i when i got my car after waiting 6 weeks. anyhow yes just pull it off and it comes. i had to use plyers to get a grip on them and with a small tug it pops out.
