E92 ACS Coupé

Hi guys. I tried to see how an E92 would look like with the ACS kit. I think the coupe will rock

What do you reckon ?

Nice, makes me want to wait for the coupe I'm nitpicking but on the coupe that front window will be longer and the back window fairly small, but great photoshop !

ogrady> I did reduce the back window and enlarge the door and front window... but maybe not enough ?

I will try to arrange that tomorrow... I am going to bed now...

I think you need to lower the roofline a little bit too

Nice work.

Still difficult to work on the doors etc from this angle

Damn great photoshopping tbensous and thanks for sharing! I only hope that the coupe looks like that. The other photoshops of the coupe I've seen haven't impressed, but this definitely looks good.

Nice PS:ing! How did you lower that roof? Did you select and move/fit pieces or select and shrink downwards?

Ahhh - wait you did the select and move to fit technique - right? It shows in the window of the building...

Now give me a sick chromed blower intake coming out of the bonnet

I didn't know how to do it, and suddenly had an idea (I am really learning photoshop...)

I copied the upper part of the car (windshield + roof) using a rectangular selection. Pasted the selection in a new image. Modified the height of the new image, pasted it back to the original photo. And I polished the work by rebuilding the building behind...

Not bad for a for a beginner and limited time!

I love photoshop. Used to do it alot more before though... haven't got the time to mess around that much anymore...

My favorite tool Nr 1 is the "clone stamp" (it like a paint brush where you copy from another point on the picture). Maybe it's what you used to rebuild the background. It's perfect for such work!

Favorite tool Nr 2 is "select" and then I can do what I want... change color balance... add filters.... almost anything....

Favorit tool Nr 3 is "liquify". This effect is sooo neat! It's best for artistic work but it's like fungerpainting! wow! But you need a pretty good cpu and plenty of ram to use it...

I used two main tools:

1) Selection/resize

2) Healing brush in replace mode to copy from another point of the picture. I don't know the difference with the clone stamp though ... do you ?

Healing brush? Is that some new feature? Haven't heard of it before... I do know there is a "history brush" though. But I don't use it alot. If a mess up I just ctrl+z my backwards...

But it sound like the same effect as the clone stamp... and as long as the effect is ok... I suppose i dosen't matter.

Ok - I went in and looked in the program.. I have the healing brush too! Haven't used it though... There's a ton of stuff in there I'll never use....

Ok (again) - I read the help section and it seems that maybe the healing brush is even better than the clone stamp at reparing images and making them fit to the rest of the picture! I ought to try this... (I suppose I just learned how to use the clone stamp and didn't think that they'd updated the program...)
