illuminated shift knob?
I have an e92 335i and I'm looking for an illuminated shift knob. I have the 6MT and when I search all I seem to find is the "M-sport" shift knob. I don't really like that since it has the "///M" badge in the middle of the knob and I'm a strong believer of not putting "///M" parts on a non-M vehicle (even if it's as simple as a shift knob) I see JLevi makes one:
http://www.jlevisw.com/accessories/B...ob.htm#inline1 Are there any other places that have one without the "///M" badge in the middle? I'd really like to find one that displays the current gear you're in like this one: Granted I know what gear I'm in, but if I'm going with an illuminated shift knob the gear indicator seems pretty cool. Has anyone seen one that displays the gear you're in?

The reference shift knob is on an M3 in the picture, it's made by AC Schnitzer, but I can't find a vendor that sells it.

It's for manual transmission. It has a position sensor to activate which gear to display. However, instead of displaying "N" for neural, the light just travels around in a figure 8 pattern. I wish it displayed an "N" instead.

I had it on my 08 MCS and when in neutral it just showed a dash. AC Schnitzer has another one that illuminates as well. It is a very simple shift knob. Check out the link and scroll to the bottom of the page. It is the middle shift knob. I actually know the AC rep and if you are interested I can get you a quote.
