Bulb type for e92 lci reverse light

Hey, I was wondering exactly what type of bulb fits for the reverse light on the e92 lci. I would like to replace them with something brighter (so i can see better through my limo tints, and for the backup camera), and I did not want to pay lux $140 for leds which cost cents to make.

Please let me know!

Shit you want bright? Get the Lux reverse lights- I have them and they're about as bright as you can get!

We may have a solution in the next couple weeks that may interest you. Doing some testing right now so I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch.

Our reverse lights were made by our our hard work and devotion to creating the best quality products out on the market. We have spend countless hours testing, re-designing and perfecting lights so they can be the best quality products out there for everyone to use. We designed the original backup lights for the E92 coupes so please keep that in mind when looking at all the products out there on the market.

Our lights as well have always used LED's manufacturer by Cree, but Cree themselves do NOT manufacture aftermarket products such as these backup lights.

Interesting solution. Have you considered fabbing a small reflector and mounting it on the neck of the heatsink to help direct the light forward from the LEDs? Perhaps frosted PVC as a diffuser as well for more flood and less throw?

That's a very chunky buck puck you've got as a driver!

We did lots of testing but found that this is the best solution out there. It utilized the stock reflector to keep the original beam pattern. This picture is a comparison of Stock vs LUX. Quite a huge difference as you can see:
