CPO Warranty Expiration question

So I got my 08 335i back in June of 2013 as my first BMW. It's a CPO and also has the maintenance plan. When i purchased the car I wasn't issued a new booklet with all the info and am left with the information from the buyer who had it before me along with the pre owned . Basically it says:
Original in service date: 07/11/2011
Date of Resale: 05/10/2012
Expiration date: 05/09/2016.

I'm assuming the In service date is when the first CPO owner bought it? The date of resale is when he got rid of it. But the expiration date is what confuses me. Considering the added 2 years of the CPO warranty after the new vehicle warranty, the car should expire 05/09/2014. So what is the expiration date detailing?

Attached is a photo of the registration page if someone could so kindly shed some light on the subject.

The second owner of the vehicle, the one that purchased it used from BMW as a CPO, purchased it and CPO on 5/10/2012, therefore that CPO expires 5/9/2016 or 100K miles I believe, whichever comes first. In order to get a CPO on a BMW it has to be purchased from BMW, no accidents, below a predetermined mileage and other standards. Once CPO, it is valid until the 4 years after the original CPO date or 100K, whichever comes first, no matter how many times sold or who sold by.

You can still certify a car that has been in an accident.

It should be covered for 6 years from the in service date. It's hard to believe a 2008 was placed in service in 2011. Did you see a Carfax?

BMW Certified Pre-Owned: Covers you for 2 years/50,000 miles* whichever comes first, after the expiration of the 4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle/SAV Limited Warranty for a total of 6 years/100,000 miles.*

OK I stand corrected.... When I purchased my 2008 Z4, it was 2 years old and CPO, so my first 2 years of warranty was the standard warranty followed by 2 years CPO so I assumed the CPO was 4 years or 100K

Alright thanks for the replies. All that's understood, now I'm just trying to understand what the 2016 expiration date entails. I've also read my car and a few other years have the turbo warranty extended to 100,000 miles since the wastegate has had such problems on the n54.

Go to the dealer and have them read they key.
The key will tell them the CPO expiration date.

Mine expires 5/7/2014. My car was put into service 5/8/2008.
Picking up another extended from the dealer at a good price, but it only covers powertrain, etc. But it's for another 36K/36months.
