330d full tank to empty?

First full fill up on the 330d m sport and completed 540 miles with another 70 miles left in the tank.

How does this compare with everyone else's experience?

Been treating her like a lady for last 3 weeks driving mostly in Eco Pro. Had a bit of fun in sportier modes and the difference is huge. But will keep the grunt under control for first 1000 miles before the right foot gets heavier and my smile gets wider.

Hi

Yes sounds about right, with a 610 mile range. Do you know how many litres it took?

My best for a tank has been around 636 miles, which was 587 actual miles with 49 miles range left. Average for that tank was 51.56mpg. That was a week of mostly motorway cruising in the mix, but I did have a heavy play half tank which I regretted as I would like to test how much you could actually eke out of single tank.

I always average about 34,6 - 34,8 mpg. (6,8l - 6,6l / 100 km).
Right foot issue I assume. Had the exact same consumption in my
F11 520d. And funnily enough in my MY2009 Subaru Legacy Diesel.

Those are US mpg figures you are quoting, not UK mpg!

Your UK mpg is about 41 if your l/100 km figures are correct!

Last fill up was just over 51 litres of BP diesel.
By my calcs that's an average of @ 47 mpg.
Not bad for 3 weeks of ownership.

My bad! Didn't think about the whole imperial units thing.
It's so much easier when everything is 10-based.
Anyhow, I'm far from 50+ mpg...

Still better than my 07 320d though, and much much faster!

And yea the whole imperial thing is strange, especially as we do a lot of things in metric too!
