Rattle from throttle pedal.
I don't know if anyone else has the same, but my throttle pedal sound really cheap and plasticy,(not a real word) I’ve looked at it close up, it's where the connecting rod locates in the back of the pedal, there a socket and pushrod arrangement, but mine has too much clearance between the two, and rattles about when no pressures applied.
Is it just mine or has anyone noticed? |

Haven't noticed that on mine, and I'm PICKY about rattles as some people on here already know. I'll go have a look at mine, but I'm pretty sure there's no play in between..

If I lift the top edge of the pedal, I can feel a movement of about 2mm, I need to have a closer look at the weekend, and see if I can take up some of the slack in any way. |

When lifting quickly and returning to normal it can sometimes click... but is this not the detector thing that detects ff you are going to brake quickly and prepares the brakes (or something along those lines?)

Update..
At the weekend I decided something had to be done, so I sheeted up the drivers foot well, and set to with my lithium spray grease, I managed to get some between the pushrod and it's little socket on the back of the pedal, after the solvent in the grease disappeared the pedal fell silent, ah bliss. |
