6K miles on my e90 , few things i dont like

The blinkers are very sensitive when you want to shut them off the end up going tthe other direction.

The "BC" control is right on the end of the high beam feature and if you press it slightly to the rear you end up flashing your highs at someone.

The traction control in snow seems dangerous when you are trying to pull out of somewhere that is slippery. This morning I was pulling out onto a busy road and needed to get some speed fast and because my wheels slipped a bit it enganges and keeps rpm low to keep wheel from spinning which it takes longer to get speed going.

If I want to spin dounuts in the snow I take the Traction Control feature off and it still doesnt let the wheels spin free. Is there some other control I need to disengage to get my wheels to peel or what????

I believe you have to hit the button twice to actually turn it off entirely

Hitting the DSC button once turns of the stability control system and enters DTC (dynamic traction control?). This allows a limited amount a wheel slip "for a sportier drive" according to some BMW literature. It's also noted in the manual that this is useful for gaining some traction on snow and ice.

Pressing and holding the DSC button for several seconds after first entering DTC turns all of the traction controls off, and also the DBC (Dynamic Brake Control). Basic ABS functions remain active whatever you do.

As for the blinkers, lightly tap the indicators in the same direction that the blinker is indicating. (as if you were going to activate the 3 blink function)

It turns off the repeater and you won't accidentally indicate that you're going the other way.
