E90 Touring Wagon

I hope this isn't a repost. But BMW Germany has already released official pics of the E90 Touring Wagon. For those of you who prefer wagons, take a look. I'm personally not a fan of wagons, but the E90 wagon is certainly interesting.

Does anyone know what color this is - is it sparkling graphite - BTW, am I the only one that is completely geeked about the Touring? I can hardly wait!

Did a search and found these other touring pics:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=touring

duddym - That might be arctic silver or maybe titanium silver.. definitely too light to be SG. I think the e90 touring looks great, I hope they put some nice power into it, like the upcoming M3 engine, to give Audi S wagons a run for their money! Have you seen the touring video posted heree?

res ipsa - Thanks!

Actually, I've been rotating those image as wallpaper on my PC at work and home for a while. Still don't know about that color - it looks darker than the TiAg, but lighter than the SG. Maybe it's a unique color to the wagon. The Atlas Gray on my Audi was like that - only available on the Avant. BTW, how do you like your SG?

I just watched the video(s).........I drooled all over my PC.......but, man, that guy sure was driving like a wuss........

I definitely don't think it's either Arctic or Titanium silver. It's probably the Silver Grey color they have on the 5series (e60).

The rear end of the roof really slopes down dramatically....they were clearly going for a more "non-geek" wagon look. Pretty cool and I usually dislike wagons.

I'm not sure why, but I love wagons........maybe it's because we never had one when I was a kid. My wife, on the other hand, hates them.......oh well, she doen't have to drive it.

Keep in mind: I'm told that in Europe, wagons (tourings, avants......shooting brakes, whatever) are considered sporty and really cool. Americans just need to free their minds of all the negative wagon stereotypes that have evolved over the years.

I think the e90 touring looks awesome. It will be an excellent replacement for my A4 Avant.........which, by the way, I've received tons of compliments on.......mostly by guys. Go figure........

I don't like the wagon enough to get one myself and I don't need the extra space, but yea the e90 wagon definitely is one of the best looking wagons out there (right up there with the Audi). Have you seen the M5 touring?!

Love my SG so far!! thx for asking. :rocks:

Man, an M5 touring would be the ultimate. I've only seen the spy shots. I love the irony associated with a badass wagon.

I'd settle for a 525xi, but I don't have that kind of coin, let alone enough moolah for an M5 touring. So, I'll settle for a 325xi.......

Just need to settle on a color.......and convince my wife to do European Delivery........

I love this color, as I posted earlier! That's why I said it has to be Silver Grey, because I've never seen this color before on a e90 (and its derivatives) and would get it in a heartbeat if it were available.

So when you said it's Titanium Silver, I said no way, it doesn't get that dark, even with dimmer lighting. Then, on closer inspection, it's actually two different cars! The middle two pictures (M JA 4225) is TiAg, sandwiched between two pictures (M XG 4229) of one which is probably Arctic.

So, I now want a car that is the mix of Titanium Silver and Arctic... is that Silver Grey. Maybe they can make a Titanium Grey? Sigh.

I assumed it was two different cars.....

Whatever the one is in the first photo (also the last photo too, I believe) that's the one I want!

It shall be mine......

Looks like maybe that car has the Sport Pak?

Exhaust looks different than the sedan - pipes aren't straight. Hmmm......

This is the 330d 231bhp diesel engine.. The E46 320d had one curved pipe and the E46 330d two curved ones.
The E90 320d has got one curved or with filter one straight pipe..

I didn't know that. So if you get the filter... you get the straight pipes?

yes, this is also the case with the E60 530d.. Before there was a filter available, the pipes were curved down.. The filter is now standard on a 530d/525d, the 535d has straight pipes so I think there's also a filter on there..
Great car by the way, the 535d!! Best engine you can get in the 5-series!!
