M3 style side vent - tacky?

i was reading on one of the posts regarding this ebay seller's CF roof and bonnet and i came across this:

Very tacky. I even find the regular E46 3'er with the E46 M3 side grills to be tacky.


I see that these stick on grills are a trend. I see a lot of the triangle shaped ones like you'd see on a Maserati on a lot of 300s, Chargers, etc.

I now see those stick on grills in various "formations," including wider distance in between the grills, slanted (or vertically) and even in triangular shape.... Haha I even see grills on the side of the hood now and bottom of the doors (I really see the true essence of DIY)..... Geez, where are these stuff from? Walmart???
