Dat Gap! M6 gran sport replicas

While I like these wheels so far, if anyone else is thinking about grabbing them, I would probably go with the 20's instead. It just seems like there is plenty of room in there for 20's instead, I just went a little too conservative. If you have a "no line" suspension, your going to need to new springs too. I am going with the h&r sports (not super sports) in the next few weeks.

So for now at least I am enjoying my F30's off road prowess! Every time I see the wheels I keep thinking they are going to transform into some kind of autobot!

Thanks guys, I was going to wait until Friday to order the springs, but I am going to go ahead and get them now. I am not able to put the springs on myself, so I am going to start looking for a shop to do that for me now.

Any ideas on the cost for install of the H&R springs (I've never had this done before)? I am in Dallas if anyone has any recommendations also, that would be great.

Going with 20´s won´t eliminate any gap, circumference will be the same no matter if its 16" or 20". Unless you step up the profile of the tire.

Standard MSport, I did nothing to the suspension. Only changed the wheels and using original Tires

Throw some 40 profile tires on there and that'll close it right up

40's on 20" rims will lessen the gap but wouldn't it raise the car up higher? Then he would really go for the monster truck look.

Car looks fantastic Bernard! Are those stock 225/40, 255/35 tires?

Thanks! I have the standard no line suspension currently (with a gap as far as the eye can see). I also think Bernard335 MSport suspension is perfectly low enough, and looks spot on. I do not want a slammed ride in any way considering how many miles I put on it and relative ride comfort I like to enjoy. I chose the wheels and am going with the H&R sports ride height to maintain some semblance of a stock looking vehicle with a decent sport looking suspension.

If you didn't know any better (and most people dont) the wheels and suspension will hopefully look like it came this way from the factory. Just my preference especially come resale time. I put 25,000 miles on them a year, they come and go quick in my driveway.

Hmmm nice plans you have got. Are these 18" or 19" ?

I'm planning for the same wheels for my upcoming F30 Equipped with M-Sport Suspension. I'd be doing lot's of journeys with 4-5 people on board. I'm confused between these two options;

1. 18x8 Front, 18x9 Rear (225/45R18, 255/40R18)
2. 19X8 Front, 19x9 Rear (225/40R19, 255/40R19)

Which would be a better option? The roads in India aren't too great and as I said I'd be doing quite a few trips with people on board.

Slamming the car or going any lower on my car will be "stupid" there are places that I go to that you can't fit your finger in-between the splitter and the ground, I just make it and that's taking crazy angles.

You could go lower as you don't have the splitter, but it must be practical.
Good luck with lowering your car

Audyoman the wheels looks great, mostly likely my next set as well! I would love to get them in 20's, but I haven't been able to find other than than OEM version which are $$$

What tire specs did you go with? and what are the offsets of the wheels? I noticed when shopping around that they mostly had et35 offset...seems too aggressive for all around? Doesn't look like you'll need spacers from the pics which is good
