The damage is about a 3 or 4 out of 10, the bumper needs to be replaced for sure, I the crash support looks to be ok, I am just waiting too how her insurance is going to work, if I have to file a claim with my insurance, ill just pay out of pocket... any recommendations on rear bumpers?

The car is an 08 silver 335xi, 40k on it.

Please re-read what you wrote. I'm confused at what happened and what you're asking.

Get a check for OEM parts and buy replica mtech rear bumper. Make money and improve the look of your car.

I know there was a huge thread about this a while ago, but I think this looks sick, other's said it doesn't fit. If I was gonna sell the car with the ventech bumper, do you think it would be harder to sell? or stick with the mtech?

It'd be harder to sell unless you find a young tuner. Pick the bumper you like more, I'd personally go Mtech.

My two cents is go to the most expensive place to get a quote and get a check. Take the check and do what you want with it.

If you were rear ended, why would you have to pay anything out of pocket?
