...deliberately put brand/model markers on a car that isn't that brand/model.
Outside of that, there's not much that I think is "going too far" when it comes to mods, even if I don't really care for some choices other folks might make. What's too far for you?

M badges on the exterior of the car where it doesn't belong would have to be it. I honestly came close a few times trying to pull it off but i stopped myself.

- plastidip stock wheels... especially dinky non-sport pkg wheels - tinted sidemarkers - cf vinyl on any exterior part of the car - depo and other janky ass headlights...id rather have stock halogens - depo and other janky ass led taillights - random and oddly shaped vinyl decorations on cars, like some funky fake "M" stripe or whatever - cars that try to look like some crazy ass race car, but sit on wheel/suspension setups that cant outrun a roller skate on a real track... if youre going to build a "track" car for show purposes, at least do it properly then... a painted rollcage with a stupid helmet on the dash dont do shit for those 215/35 tires on -4deg camber. fucking posers.

^ EXACTLY what he said.
Also might I add unpainted CF parts like hood, trunk and etc.. Oh and tinted headlights and taillights unless it's a light tint.

Putting the M badge on a non-M car is one example.

I could care less what people do to their cars. I love when they're made unique. What does bug me is when the cars integrity begins to be compromised. Where the fitment is shitty, unpainted body parts, etc..

If you're going to do something get it done properly, annoys me when it could be something that looks really good but its done with a rattle can, immidiately cheapens the car by so much Too far is something that makes the car look stupidly tacky for me, i wouldn't say tinted side reps are too far for whoever said that but i have seen some seriously daft kits and paint jobs about |
