£1000 towards extras

I'm sure I read here but can't find the posts someone stated that BMW was contributing £1k towards extras on the 335d.

Anyone know who said it, and is there any truth in it? I know there is already a £3000 contribution.

TIA

It was me said it. I was told by my dealer that there was an additional £1000 contribution from BMW against a 335d. They call it an options contribution but apparently they would give it even if you took a standard 335d with no exras. My guess is they want to encourage registration of the 335d as they are like hens teeth at the minute. This £1000 does not show on the configurator but rather is a nice opener when you talk with your dealer.
Its definitely true as my 335d m sport is now on order as a result.

£4000 off should just be your starting point. Double that is the general target now

Yes as Finnie said, I achieved over £8k discount on my 335d and I know others who have gotten a bit more.

You should be aiming for at least an 18% discount.

Is the extra £1000 just on the F30? that seems to be the what the dealer is offering, or the difference between 2 cars same spec.

TRL at babybmw forums was very near this, but I imagine these discounts can't last for ever. I understand almost zero profit but it makes up the numbers and PCP targets etc for that quarter/year end.

I think the x drive 335d is being promoted by BMW as well hence its easier to get better %

If anyone needs his details let me know

you should be able to get 19% all day long with a bit of effort

luckily for me the wife is an old friend of the salesmans manager and a verbal promise to secure my custom provided me with the opportunity to seal an amazing deal

well done sir. I got the same discount back in August but didn't realise they were still available. I'm 'this close' to cancelling so great to know I can get a similar deal.
Cheers!

I second this - TRL and team have been great. Our family has bought 2 cars from them...

only interested in options that help the car drive better, lots of upgrades to tyres and suspension not to mention the engine as well when they finally crack the ecu encryption.......so the money saved on options will soon find a home
