Thoughts? E90 (prelci) CF Splitters from Ebay

Hey everyone,

I am looking to throw more carbon fiber on my car and want to add splitters to my Mtech bumper. I checked ebay just to see if I could find anything cheaper than JL Motoring and stumbled on this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/141110811875...ht_1219wt_1084

Thoughts? Not sure how fitment would be (since this is ebay) and sales are final so I'm hesitant to buy. I did a CF roof spoiler for my G35 on ebay and fitment was spot on so I'm hoping I can do the same for this car.

Any advice or input is appreciated!

Thanks!
Adam

I bought plenty of parts from eBay so no need to worry. Although replicas will never be 100% but pretty damn close.

I have similar splitters and i bought them from ebay. There is slight gap at the center but outer edge was perfect. I think the gap is smaller what it was when first installed, because the heat from the sun. I had to make new screw holes to the splitters , so it would align with screws at the bottom of bumper.

Just trying to figure out if its worth paying the extra ~$100 or so to order one from JL Motoring. I want a quality part that I dont have to modify in order to fit.

Do you have pics of it installed? Would like to see how bad the gap is/was. I dont want to have to drill into my bumper...

No proper close up tho and the splitters aren't on the car anymore, because it's winter. You don't need to drill your bumper. You might need to drill new holes to the splitters itself, so you can use the screws that secure the bumper.

Ahh ok gotcha. I may pull the trigger and try these out then. I suppose worst case scenario, I sell them privately for a small loss.

Thanks for your help! I think these totally change the look of the front end.

Lets hope the best. You can always try to heat them it might help if there is slight fitment issues. But it sure does change the look, but still sometimes i want go with this front lip.

I thought about going that route too. Love that look but I have a carbon CF spoiler and mirrors, and will eventually get a CF rear diffuser, so I feel like I need some CF on the front to pull it all together. Who knows. I'm sure the look will change over the next few years anyway!

Do you know of any cheap CF roof spoilers?
