Question for people with an E90 lease

New here. Nice place.

I have always leased my vehicles and am looking at a 330 since the mf is rediculously low right now. Actually looking at nothing down but taxes and acquisition and getting in there for under $500/mo

I live in MD where we have to pay 5% sales tax on the whole car - I generally do this up front. Anyway, BMW's Acquisiton fee is $895. How many of you were able to whittle that down a bit? Can I get it to $500 do you think?

Also, on another configuration, I'm looking at $43265. What's the lilelyhood of getting say 2K off of that. Again, I'm in MD.

Thanks and if you have any lease questions - ask me. I can do the calculations in my head

Garage List
not sure you can negotiate the aquisition fee but of course you can lower the price of the car

Yes. I was able to get it down to 625. Still, is that something we have to pay? As far as your car price, I was able to get about $1800 off MSRP. So what's the mf that you are getting. My 330i price is $39360 with .00195 mf with deposit on a 62 residual with 15K in miles. My payment comes out to about 570 with tax. My tax rate is 7.75%. How are you able to get it under $500? Please help! Thanks.

My guess on the big difference in payment amount is a result of your credit score. I got my 330i, MSRP of $44,030 with $2,500 down and a monthly payment of $561. I think it's a result of having a credit score of 760 and above. Above 760 and BMW gives you a really really low rate. Oh yeah, move to Oregon, we have no sales tax, so what you see is what you pay, booya.

FE9000 - in MD, the Governor gets 5% sales tax on the price of the car as in not just the part you lease like in California. Your payment in MD would be about $530 but you would have had to either pay the taxes up front or roll $2K into the price.

Since I'm not going to finance the sales tax, I pay it up front. In MD it used to be that you paid it up front and on the payment.

Also I'm using a residual of 65% cuz wifey does about 8K miles a year.

MF is not dependent on credit score - BMWFS either gives you the lease or it doesn't, everyone gets the same rate from them; the dealer, however, can bump the rate from the base offered by BMWFS to make a little extra - obviously, the price will increase.

BMWFS acquisition fee is $625. The dealer is allowed to bump it to a max of $825.

I've said this many times regarding the negotiation on "price"....you need to negotiate all of the numbers at the same time.
1. $ above invoice
2. MF markup
3. Lease Aq. fee markup
4. Misc fees, if any (no MACO or advert. fees for Euro Deliv)

That "great deal" for $800 over invoice can quickly become $1200-1500 over. Be careful out there people!
