Dealers to approach?

Hello Guys

Sorry - another thread about ordering and discounts I just don't want to be a moron and pay virtually list like I did with the 335i back in 07 with a personal loan! what a nob plus the deal I signed wasn't even OTR!

Anyhow older and wiser (perhaps not wiser), I am pretty set on placing an order for a 330d F30 in the next week, now I have the enemy's approval.

I am willing to participate in any group buys etc but failing that has anyone got any ideas for dealers to approach? Just want to know who is likely to play ball.

My nearest is cooper thames ditton who I used last time, I am willing to travel nationwide to pick up the motor.

I was hoping for 15-20% as I will be taking PCP and hope for the BMW 3.9% on their website.

Following spec: (please comment)
F30 M Sport 330d
Pro Nav
M Sport Plus pack
Electric folding mirrors
Electric front seats (bag of sand but the misses will drive it! )
Heated front seats
Heated steering wheel
Advanced parking pack
Adaptive M Sports suspension

How realistic does this look?

List OTR 43.5k
Discount including dealer cont balance: 35k (20%)
Deposit - 6k
Part X (maybe trade in a newish 107 shopping trolley to make up most of dep)
GFV 19k (only 6k miles a year)
loan 35k-6k-19k = 10k @ 3.9% over 36 months around £360 pp.

Could I still angle for March 14 delivery? or to get 15-20% can beggars not be choosers?

thanks

Dazza Add the visibility pack. When you buy it with the sport pack you get it for about 120 instead of 900. Check it out on the configurator on the site. It will also add to your GFV so you can't lose. We are still working on a group buy deal here but you may find in gb you can walk in and get 18% easily.
Also dealer contribution on configurator is about £ 1k higher for 335d and there is an extra £1k contribution towards your options so the gap to a 335d is actually much less than you think if you are interested.

I got mine from Cooper Chelmsford. Worth giving them a call.

I'd be very surprised if you could get 20% off the full spec OTR but good luck!

8k pa is the least mileage on pcp which would give you a lower GFV. Plug it into the online Configurator and it'll work it all out for you

Wow yes that's very true Robert. Good one - contrary to the £925 it states as you say it adds to GFV about £350!

oh no now I am looking at 335d x drive! I see what you mean. How much better is the 335d? much worse on ecomony? I see the performance is stunning. cheers

thanks for other comments, maybe 20% is more realistic for 335d as pcp deal is sweeter

Vines in Redhill (Surrey) did a good deal for me. Ask for Michael Ross or Helen Williams.

Fuel economy is only a couple of mpg less than 330d and you get an extra 60 bhp
When you select m sport plus pack and vis pack it may be the sport pack whose price reduces but the figures work out anyway. Basically the discount is because xenons are in both packs.

just a quick one and I am sure its being asked a millon times, do you notice the heigher ride height on the 335d? and is adaptive still worth it? I am more interested in comfort 99% of the time as my teeth are still missing from the 335i e92 on 225m

I chose adaptive suspension because my wife (and her poor back) hate my current sports suspension in my 123d. Not tried adaptive in comfort yet, but am hoping it's softer than standard sport. Like you I probably don't need race-track ride when I'm commuting to work or off down the shops.

Ride height? 10mm? Can't say i personally give a flying fig, but I know some have expressed a view that it's unacceptable.

PS - I was e-mailing my dealer just now so said a bloke called Darren may call today! Hope that's ok.

Dazza- I'd also be keen to hear how you get on as after several months of reasearch snd playing with the configurator i am also ready to order. Will be either a f31 330d if I can get around 18% discount (which is sounding like from the threads this is going to be difficult). A 335d is definitely not going to be an option for me....Otherwise it will be a 320d which in reality is probably the best choice for me anyway !

Where does the £1k contribution towards options show ?

I am in consultation with dealer now about changing the 330d to a 335d and have advised on the extra £1k contribution and the higher residual, but not on options contribution ???

Any advice would be helpful,,

Don't forget that the current PCH deals this month for the F31 are cheaper than the F30. I think it may be an error, so might not be available in Dec.

A quote I had through was 335d F31 Msport, 3+23, 8000miles/pa, Msport+, Pronav, Electric seats, heated seats, fully maintained! £515/m.

Ray, where were you getting the PCH quotes from, sounds pretty decent on the high spec 335d there.

Garage List
If you are prepared to be a little flexible on spec then there are a few cars in UK stock that BMW want to get rid of before the end of the year. Big discounts available because of BMW UK assistance to the dealers. Also means only a 2 to 3 week wait. Ask your dealer specifically about it. Going for a special build or waiting for 14 plate will make discounts harder to come by.

The 3+23, £515, F31 is from Kew Vehicle Leasing. If the saloon was that price I'd have gone for it.
