330d / 335d - Going rates of discount

I'm looking to buy a 330d or 335d with my company car opt out. Just wanted to understand what levels of discount are being offered and can anyone recommend me a dealer as I'm happy to travel for the right discount.

I'll probably keep the spec quite light and just go for Prof Nav, M-Sport Plus and heated seats.

Thanks!

Good lad, please do! Are they struggling for sales? My local dealers won't budge below the 15% mark!.....ready to pull the trigger once I get a good deal!

18.5% without having to break into tears in front of them is quite a result. They could get a load more sales once you spill the details.

Why not club together and get a 25% discount on 3 cars

Particularly to Dungaboy

But this is madness. If you get 18.5% off a 335d Msport who will ever buy a 330D SE at normal discounts. Perhaps BMW are trying to channel all buyers down one route and only have 335D M Sport production lines. This would save them a bob or two, I suppose.

Still it gives all of us all something to aspire to as we try our luck in the next month or two - best of luck in sealing the deal. Like to hear how you do eventually.

Is there anything stopping you buying over here? Anything NI specific? other than registration....

I would be up for this too. There is no issue buying from GB and even registration to NI plates is fr
free from DVA. I have bought my last 2 cars in England and it would have 3 only a local Audi dealer sat on his hands having offered to transfer a car for me from England and it sold to someone else. If the discounts are much better than is being offered locally then I think a few of us will buy in from GB.
Look forward to hearing Dungaboy's source.

Nisfan, nothing stopping me at all, if the deal is right would get one from England, Scotland or Wales. Just need to find one with a deal close to the magic 20% discount.

Think a lot of the N Irish guys are the same (Davy and Proft above!). Getting impatient though, busting to buy!

Sounds like there are about 5 of you near the buying stage.........worth grouping these together and securing a big discount

Heck if they extend the deal to a 430d M Sport, count me in too

Nisfan yes this is a chat we have been having on another thread. Discounts on 335d from NI dealers seem to max out at 15% at the moment. There are only 4 dealers and they don't seem desperate for sales as registrations in Jan/Feb are the desired months over here rather than the English plate change months.

If 20% was offered and we knew who the dealer was I think they could get a few sales. I did mention to one of our local dealers the chance to sell 3 or 4 335d and their response was why would be want to sell 4 cars at a loss.

If only they had some deals on the 4 series!! But if someone could negotiate group buy with serious discounts there is a lot of interest....maybe a dealer that needs to shift metal to hit volume target!.......as Davy, Proft and I can tell you....it won't be coming from N Ireland, they weren't interested in the idea!

New cars are always tough to get discounts on. Wait a few more months and you'll get 15%+.

I guess it's about finding a dealer willing to make a few easy sales without being greedy. It's not like they have to work hard to sell, we would be queuing to sign the papers. All they have to do is discount to the right level and they have sold at least 5 cars!

As Prof says they would be easy sales, we all have our specs decided on, a quick email is all it would need from them and 4 sales on the books. Surely some BMW salesman is reading this and needs a few numbers.

bmw configurator contribution is 5400(3000 is bmw the rest dealer)
the dealers are allowed 8% front end and 6% back(px sweetener)so about 21% is what you are likely to get if the dealer is looking for volume bonus'
this is what I have found out from a forum friendly dealer.
if you have no px then 18.5% is easily attained.

the first dealer I spoke with came up with 17% off ,currently on third deal at 18.5% off and if there is sufficient interest I would be happy to push for a group discount but I don't think your going to get more than 20% off a group buy (1%=£450 per car)not the greatest earner or incentive for any dealer unless they are chasing a volume bonus

interested to hear what you guys think?

I'm up for a group deal Dunga. FYI looking for a 330d Msport (42.5K OTR with options) for March 14 delivery and would go for a PCP.

PS * subject to approval from the enemy I get married the day before lol.
