Blackvue DR550
Hi guys, can I pick anyone's brain about this cam? I had a camera hard wired into my f30 but I kept on getting warnings every day saying " increased battery discharge when stationary, electrical consumers where temporally switched off". Do you know what that means? I've bought a new f31 and blackvue dr550 (the other cam wasn't blackvue) but not sure if I should have it fitted as I don't want this warning coming up.

I would ask over here: http://dashcamtalk.com/forum/forums/...ft-blackvue.6/ as I don't see a lot of dashcam discussion on this forum.

Hi Richard, to be honest I'm not sure how the engineer done it, he said he knows about the issue and done it correctly so this wouldn't happen. I'm tying to find out how it should be done so I can check with him that's what he's going to do.

The Blackvue cams I have tried are terrible, every one has overheated or had recording issues.
I have been using a DRV-027 at about 60 bucks and it's a solid performer in every way.
