Oyster Interior

The 4 series is now available with Oyster/Black leather as part of the Sport Line trim. This is a welcome addition to the interior offerings--black with red and red with black are simply too boyish for my tastes.

That is exactly my thought as well! I have an e92 with Oyster and M-sport, and would love to be able to get the same combination on the f32 when I upgrade. These new lines just seem to needlessly limit choices without providing any benefit.

No, I like the beige. It's not terrible.

Why on earth do we not have Oyster for M Sport? ffs, the sportline and msport seats are the exact same.

Also, if Oyster was on M Sport, more people might not get sportline, and get msport instead, which = money for bmw.

Are you sure on the 4? BMWUSA site doesn't show this as an option?

I had the oyster leather on my E90 and after 2 years the driver side thigh bolster showed noticeable wear frequent leather cleaning and conditioning (which was necessary because some jeans would color transfer to the seats)

Loved the color combo but I'm hesitant to give it another go due to durability concerns

The front seats would look better/more sporty/more balanced/have better color contrast with black plastic seat backs and black netting instead of Oyster plastic seat backs and Oyster netting.

It's only available on the 435 Sport Line. Not sure why. Oyster is the best leather color.

If it was offered on the M Sport my EB F30 would have it. Our deepsea blue E90 is stunning with oyster/black.

Maybe this won't be an issue for you but I had a similar color in my last car. It was a bit of a pain for me. I keep cars for 5 yrs and the end of the 5 yrs you will have a worn dirty seat or you will have spent considerable time cleaning and conditioning the leather. Maybe this is different leather and will hold up fine and resist the dirt but for me the creases that are made with use trap dirt and are hard to get looking like new agian without stripping all the protection from of the leather.
