Noooooo!

I am the proud owner of the F31 330d xdrive. I used to own a 335d (e90) and loved it but the 335d wasn't available when I bought my F31 two months ago.

I have just noticed that the F31 335d now comes with a larger dealer contribution and 3.9% apr vs 4.9% for the 330d. This means it is £11 cheaper a month to finance!! If you have ordered a 330d try and change your order now!

I wish I had never looked this up now.

That would be annoying if like the OP you had bought a 330d. However there
Is often something better just round the corner once you buy but that's just life.

That reduced contribution on the F31 335d only appeared online between Thursday night and this morning. It is swaying me to a 335 over a 330. Although in fairness I needed little persuasion.

Im in the same position mate, I got a lot more off the car from the dealer anyway there is nothing to say I would have got that on a 335d. Never mind when it comes to change the lci will be out and hopefully the twin exhausts will be back for the 335d!!

Although I'm sure my s-drive will sit and laugh at me at the first sign of the white stuff. Hopefully I can hang on to the evoque for winter work runs!

How does the 330d x drive handle anyway? Any understeer?

Looks like they've aligned the touring and saloon APRs, signed on the dotted line for my 330d order this afternoon, came home to triple check the figures vs the configurator and its now 4.9% instead of 3.9%

Glad I didn't procrastinate any longer!

Nope, the F30 330d m-sport f30 (not xdrive) as well as a load of other engines are now 4.9% apt on PCP, the 330/335 xdrives are still on 3.9% Apr

I'm awaiting delivery of my F31 330d S drive so for the last few months I have been looking at the available deals closely to convince myself I made the right decision. Without any further discount a 335d in the same spec as my order would cost £24,959 over 3 years on PCP, my 330d as a PCH is costing £18,737 so as much as I would like a 335 that is a big chunk of money and even a significant additional discount wouldn't make it suitable for me. There has been one lease deal on a 335d which was priced at a similar level but that was only available for a few days.

Slight edit to my wine fuel'd post the BMW Configurator is currently not showing the same GTV for the Msport plus pack so my figures for the 335d are out by approx £900 over 3 years.

No - no under steer but quite different to rwd almost as if it's on rails. Incidentally, I also changed from an evoque to a 330.

Nice one Ewan. I had a 330d s-drive on loan for a few hours from the dealer and it was better than on rails so I didn't even consider the x-drive. I'm planning to keep the evoque aswell as me and my wife love it. What kind of evoque did you have?

330d xDrive M Sport and 335d xDrive M Sport 3.9%
330d sDrive M Sport 4.9%
Not much difference in monthly payments for all three of above according to the configurator..

Sorry I thought you were talking about the 330d M Sport touring sdrive (which is 3.9%). Incidentally the 330d M Sport xdrive touring is 4.9%. Which seems kinda back to front to the saloon!!!!

I'm in a very similar position; same car, but only recently arrived at the dealer and currently being taxed, so i haven't picked it up yet or completed the paperwork. I've seen the deal on the 335d now being offered and with a bit of help from the dealer it would basically be the same as the 330. Can't believe it.

Too late to change?

Would the dealer keep your car as a demo and allow you to reorder?

Problem is there is always "better deals" somewhere!!, and we kick our selves when we miss them, but there will be others down the line, it sucks but life goes on
I think the dealerships know "before it's posted" about changes, they just keep quiet and hope for more sales.

I push for the best deals late in the year November/December usually, punt around nationwide, most will not play then after a week most come back with better offers.., according to my mate in BMW, they are pushing hard for "Volume" this means loads of pre-registered cars coming onto the market.
