BMW Leather Key Fob Sheath

Just in case anyone is interested here are a few pictures of the OEM Leather Key Fob Sheath. I purchased it from Mileone for under $10 bucks + shipping = +_ $14.. Great product.. But for those of you who have keychains and such, this is not for you.. I love it but I too cannot use it

Why can't you use it? I was thinking of getting one myself.

I cant use it because of my key chain.. well you technically could if you had CA because you dont need to ever take out yor keyfob.. but even with my CA I tend to use Valet Parking once in a while and by having the keychain on the valet key and the key fob hook on the other hole its kinda cluttered... i dono IMO i just like it better without the leather sheath when I have the keychain.. here.. pictures speak louder then words. lol

haha I posted up a FS thread earlier but realized my price and Mileone price was same.. so I just decided to keep it because since paypall takes some money it would actually lose more money selling it then keeping it

For those of you who have the case (non-CA), does it get in the way when the key is in the "ignition"? In other words, do you ever hit it with your hand when turning the wheel and/or does it just look kind of silly hanging there when the key fob is in?

Seems like something that is cool looking but more of a hassle and impractical than anything.

I don't use the plastic screw and put the key ring right through the holes in the leather instead.

I found it quite useful for a CA equiped car and serves to stop you from accidentially pushing the lock button while outside the car and ended up locking yourself out. Trust me, my wife did it once. She opened the passenger door to throw her purse into the front seat. In doing so she accidentially pushed the lock button somehow, before closing the door. By the time she walked over to the driver's side she was locked out!! I bought her one of these the next day.

haha, I forgot that I had made this thread a while back.. just an update***** after having to deal with the leather sheath off of the key fob, eventually the leather molds to the key fob and now it stays in place hehe, so its def. more practical for people with CA
