4 series M performance parts ordered

Has anyone ordered any 4 series M performance parts.

I've already ordered the front black grilles, carbon fibre mirror caps and rear spoiler.

Got a price from my local dealer for the front carbon fibre front splitter - They think it will be $4500 Aussie which may equate to $3500 US.

So bloody expensive. This is utterly crazy. Can this be true?

Probably cheaper for you to order in the US and ship it to AUS!

That doesn't sound correct, I have the F30 335, with the MPerformance black front splitter which I color matched, black grills, side sills which I also color matched, MPerformance stickers on the side sills, rear diffuser and Bootlid spoiler which I also color matched. Parts, color matching and fitment it cost me about R28000 (South African Rands) so about US$2800. Get a quote from another dealer, it's impossible to be that expensive.

I thought the Varis cf splitter was expensive at $1,700 AUD. I will get a price tomorrow from my dealer and let you know Secret Agent. I also want a cf splitter but not at that price, imagine you scratched it on a speed bump, the pain would not be worth it.

The CF is key here people. Not that I knew there was one in CF, but that should explain why itīs more expensive (assuming most guys have the normal, "cheap", plastic splitter..)

Thx macca, I got my quote through Adelaide BMW. Hope your quote is a lot cheaper!
Mind you I nearly bought a CF front splitter for my f10 5 series. It was a 'cheap' $1500 Aussie. Can't see why a 4 series CF splitter should cost any more than that !

i'm going to order the black kidneys today along with all weather floor mats and maybe the m performance pedal covers...for the carbon fiber bits, i'll wait for replicas...i'm not really a big fan of the carbon fiber look, i would end up painting them in matte black anyway...plus, yes, carbon fiber costs premium...that's why those mirror caps are so damn expensive
